Taken my father's mobility scooter plus large sum of money in exchange for an electric wheelchair and light wheelchair for my mum. Electric wheelchair arrived with no instructions yet to see wheelchair for mum. This guy comes across as trustworthy but is anything but! Never returned telephone calls or emails regarding this purchase. Neither my parents got the opportunity to use wheelchairs. I have reported company to Trading Standards . Please if anyone else has had an issue report.
I left my scooter in for repair in August and he still hadnt sent the technical report for parts by December never mind repair it. Very poor communication from this man too, messages and phone calls ignored. Disgusted at being left all this time with no scooter to get out and about especially over Christmas. Should have read the reviews first, it appears he has a habit of leaving vulnerable people in the lurch.Would have given zero stars if possible. Avoid!!
Excellent service. Used the business twice. There were no lengthy delays. Johnny got the job done.
Came to replace tyres on my mother-in-law's scooter must be a year ago at least now. Said it couldn't be done at the house so took the scooter away she paid him £400 before he took it as she felt she had to. Contacted him after a few weeks he brought her a bright green brand new scooter to use while she waited on hers which she still has. Ok it was good of him to bring her one out but she is raging as she wanted her own scooter back as she stands out like a sore thumb going down the street with the colour of it. Would never recommend this man to anyone comes across as a gentleman but is in fact a con man wish we had read the reviews before approaching him.
He rips people off suppose to repair mine and return, he kept it probably sold it,stopped answering my calls DONT TRUST THIS GUY HE'S NASTY THIEVE
£70-£80 just to get one tire put onto alloy.... It was all my own stuff soo I don't understand why I got charged so much just put tire on...... Like for car tire it's what 30 or 40 pounds.... Mine was 9" tire and cost near 80 🤷♂️🤷♂️ I really don't understand.... But I can tell you always read reviews on people you going to use!!!! To save you alot and unfortunately I didn't do that... Reading all these reviews is true!! Way way over priced and I'm just glad I didn't give him whole scooter of I be waiting months for tire change 🙈 a 5 min job took the whole day I'm just thankful he got it to me that night witch was only good thing...... Remember read reviews don't get conned like we all did 😡
My elderly disabled father bitterly regrets ever having made contact with Johnnie Walker. First he was mis-sold an electric wheelchair when he wanted a mobility scooter. He was charged considerably more than the model was available at on the web (3 times). Then he agreed to pick up and sell the wheel chair with a promise of giving the proceeds to my father. That was months and months ago - no contact, no money and I would imagine no hope.
