Find My Stairlift operates findmystairlift.co.uk. This page describes how we handle data relating to your visit, and how you can reach us at [email protected] with any concerns.
Your rights come first Because UK data protection law — the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 — governs how personal data must be treated, we want to be upfront that you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of any personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. If you're ever dissatisfied with our response, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) can be contacted at ico.org.uk.
What we actually collect In practice, this site has no sign-up forms and doesn't ask you for personal details. What is collected, automatically and as standard, is technical information your browser sends when loading a page: your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited. This lands in our server logs like it would on almost any website.
Cookies and advertising We may use cookies here for site analytics and for advertising purposes. Advertising partners, potentially including Google, may use cookies to show adverts based on your interests as you browse. You can manage this at myadcenter.google.com if you'd prefer not to receive personalised ads.
Where our listings come from The stairlift suppliers & installers, home lift companies and mobility equipment shops featured here, plus their ratings and reviews, are gathered from publicly available Google Maps listings. We don't create this content ourselves. A supplier that wants their entry corrected or taken down should email us and we will act on it.
Links elsewhere This site links out to individual suppliers' websites and to Google Maps; we have no say over, and no liability for, how those sites handle your data once you leave ours.
