What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Swansea Mobility Hire serves customers in Swansea who need short-term mobility support, with a steady theme of helpful, friendly assistance running through the feedback. Customers in several reviews describe the staff as very helpful when arranging a scooter, and one review singles out Gladwyn for repairing a chair and rescuing a holiday, while another praises the swift practical help given by a member of staff when a car broke down during a wheelchair collection. Reviews regularly refer to value for money and ease of use, with hiring described as straightforward and scooters said to be in good condition and always available.

An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the personal, cheerful approach of the team, whether helping a relative with a wheelchair or making it simpler to get around town while shopping. Customers value the convenience of the service for everyday errands, and the general tone is one of gratitude for dependable equipment and welcoming staff. The recurring picture is of a practical hire service where friendliness and quick problem-solving matter as much as the scooters themselves.

Avoid if you actually need to store luggage. I left a suitcase here at midday and was told it was £8 for one day — but that I had to collect it by 4:30pm. So "one day" apparently means four and a half hours. Isn't a day 24 hours? My bus back was over an hour late and I couldn't reach them before they shut. The next day I returned earlier than the time I had originally dropped the bag off, and was charged an extra £17.80 "overnight fee" — more than double the daily rate, for hours during which they were closed and had gone home early. I have never come across a left luggage service where "a day" excludes the night, and where the night costs twice as much as the day. I would rather have carried my suitcase around Rhossili than leave it here. Do not use this place for luggage. They also insisted on cash only, saying the card machine was broken.

Whenever I go hear I get given the largest and most uncontrollable vehicles ...often they are too big to fit through shop doors ....and if you can actually get into a shop, do t expect to be able to get one of their giant scooters around the aisles. Everytime I go there I come away crying Because shopping used to be a pleasant experience before I had to use one of their scooters ...or if I use scooters from any other mobility shop ...where they have normal size scooters or even small scooters that fit into shops Night mare

It's a great place to get a mobility scooter from. Making it easy for me to get around while shopping. Nice people in there too.
