4.0 / 5 · 45 totalgood service when it’s open but it’s a shame they close at 4 on weekdays and are closed on weekends. many disabled people want to go out for an evening meal at local restaurants and still need access to mobility equipment. also, many disabled people work during the week, just like non-disabled people, and need the opportunity to use the service at weekends. extending the opening hours would make a big difference and improve accessibility for everyone.
We have used this service a few times but was dissapointed to learn they do not open at weekends . Took my mother to town today hoping to use the services and it was closed . West quay John Lewis and marks and Spencer’s were very helpful and tried their very best to help and locate a wheelchair but unfortunately due to “health and safety reasons “ do not provide wheelchairs or mobility aids . What I do not understand is why they are not open at the weekends when most people tend to go shopping or are able to go shopping it’s a great service tha a lot of people rely on
Great mall to pass time if you are here for a cruise.
This service is brilliant, I’m currently unable to walk very far due to illness and the mobility scooter gave me independence and the ability to travel much further than I could on my own two legs. It was easy to sign up and hire a scooter, and the guy working was really friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Wanted to heir a scooter, phoned them no answer
Very easy to hire a mobility scooter and helped make my experience pain free
Travelled here to do Christmas shopping as google said it was open and it’s closed. No other facilities available so wasted trip.
