Contacted Alfix Stairlifts Ltd. to get my mum’s stairlift serviced. Primary contact was Greg who also serviced the stairlift. Good and polite customer service. Would recommend. Also, I am pleased to be able to support a local business.

Fitted a stairlift at my parents a couple of years ago - credit where its due. Called them out for a quote and it was fitted just 2 days later! Only been one issue in that time and they came out straight away to sort. Highly recommend!

Our stairlift was fitted just over 4 years ago and we were very pleased with the service. We recommended it to friends as we all support local businesses. Last week the stairlift stopped working in the evening. Emergency number responded straight away and said engineer would be there within the hour. It needed new batteries which he replaced and it was back in service within an hour and a half. Excellent response.

Brian and the team gave my mum exceptional service; from the speed of coming out for the initial visit, to their helpfulness and professionalism and then fitting of the lift so quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Stairlift installed for my mother in Feb 2026. Great service, quick quote, quick install, good price. All smooth. Stairlift stopped April 2026. I called the office. There was an immediate response ftom manager, who rescheduled diary so he could investigate and did home visit to my mother's house. Resolved by simply pressing a reset button on side of seat (a reset can be required if spike in mains - this is something that any owner can do. Stairlift working as it should do - standard feature). There was no call out charge. No different technical number to call, no ask for my mum to try to provide details before anyone could come and look at the issue. No jumping through hoops with paperwork. Just a quick efficient and friendly response. You only truly know how good a company is when you need guidence post sale. In this case, Alfix were excellent in their approach and professionalism. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Very quick to come out and then install. The stairlift installation was very professionally completed and the staff could not have been more helpful. Happy to recommend them as a trustworthy local business.
