Chris Ward was very professional but easy to talk to. He understood what I wanted and explained the options clearly. Once it was manufactured the stairlift was fitted within a few hours. My wife and I are delighted.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but the service I received from Chris from Herts Homelifts Ltd to resolve the issues with an old stairlift for my Step-Father was so good, I felt I needed to recommend him to others. He was pleasant, very helpful and knowledgeable and managed to get the chair working temporarily until he could order the parts and complete the repair fully, which he has now done. Absolutely 1st‑class service. Chris was incredibly helpful over the phone — even though it was his day off. He talked me through several potential issues with my mum’s stairlift to try and get it running again. When those options didn’t work, he came out the very next day (a Sunday), quickly identified the fault, and resolved it just as fast. My mother’s stairlift was installed nearly four years ago by a well‑known brand, not Herts Homelifts Ltd. Had I known about Herts Homelifts at the time, I would have gone to them without hesitation. We needed to have mum's stair lift removed urgently. I rang two of the main stairlift companies, ( not allowed to name them), both quoted a 4 wk wait AND a price of £300 plus. Then I found Chris at Herts Homelifts. Less than 24 hours later he had removed our stairlift at a much lower price! I am so impressed, he was friendly, courteous, and understood our urgency.
