4.7 / 5 · 117 totalI have found myself in need of a mobility scooter, after hours of looking at different sites and different scooters I decides the Genie Ultralight would suit me best , I did not want to purchase online so found this brilliant place Unique Mobility Plymouth , as this was fairly local to me rang them to check they had one in store I could try the answer was yes so decided to pay a visit . Was met by Laura and after going through everything thing I wanted an needed from a scooter the Genie would suit met , took it for a test round the car park and new this was the one I wanted , checked it was easy to fold down and light enough for my husband to put in the boot 12kg extra for battery 2kg just what I needed , the other great thing was that I was buying from a small local company with the best customer service you could wish to have , I live in Cornwall the shop in Plymouth just a 40 mile drive but we'll worth it , had a new one in stock I was able to bring home , a big thankyou to Laura and Unique Mobility Plymouth

We had the pleasure of dealing with Wayne when purchasing a power add on and wheelchair. He was welcoming and helped us with all our questions. We are about to purchase a new back rest also! Will be using unique mobility Plymouth for any other needs for our little girl. Thank you Wayne!
From the first contact my wife and I were treated with respect and made to feel comfortable with the progress of our purchase. Laura the companies representative was polite extremely helpful and knew the products that she was selling, from ordering to the day of delivery we were kept informed either by email or phone calls if all the staff are of the same calibre then the company should be extremely happy with the staff.
I can’t speak highly enough about the team at Plymouth. From initial visit to collecting my new mobility scooter, they were knowledgeable and professional; there was no pressure to buy, just patience and advice. Rob’s guidance lead me to the perfect solution for my mobility needs, he’s a real credit to the business.
An excellent experience from all staff, hats off to Rob who was our personal assistant throughout the process. Friendly, knowledgeable, bent over backwards to assist my elderly dad, who quite frankly thought he was Lewis Hamilton for a few minutes!! Smooth process from start to finish. Thank you so much. We bought a wheelchair from here a few weeks ago, and the guy in there, Wayne was really helpful. The wheelchair came very quickly and the chair was just as we had ordered. After 5 days of using this wheelchair it became apparent I couldn't get it in and out of my car because it was too heavy. I went to see the guys in Unique Mobility and they were super helpful. Both Wayne and the manager went out of their way to find a solution, which in this case was a swap to another much lighter wheelchair, at no extra cost. They could have just shrugged and done nothing, but they went above and beyond to find a solution for me. I can't thank them enough for all they did for me. I can't recommend Unique Mobility enough, absolutely fantastic.
