Stairlifts Wales

Stairlifts Wales is a family-run, family-owned small company located in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It focuses on the installation of reconditioned Brooks Acorn stairlifts, each of which undergoes rigorous testing and refurbishment. The company serves the entire South Wales region, including Chepstow, Carmarthen, Bristol, and Brecon. It provides stairlift installation and stairlift removal in Cardiff. Stairlifts Wales offers long-term stairlift rental options that come with a continuous warranty, and short-term rental stairlift options with the flexibility to purchase later.

It also provides annual servicing for straight Acorn stairlifts, installs new batteries, and supplies all necessary replacement parts for straight Acorn stairlifts. The Brooks Acorn Slimline 120/130 has a maximum weight capacity of 127kgs. It offers swivel seat options in both manual and powered versions. It has a remote control feature allowing a second user to assist. It has an internal battery for operation during a power outage. It has an LCD diagnostic display for troubleshooting. Nathan and his family can be reached via phone, text, WhatsApp, direct email, or online messaging.

Help for an elderly parent returning from hospital shapes many of the accounts left about this Rhoose company, where Nathan and James are named time and again for arriving when they say they will. The pattern that emerges is of measuring, fitting and handover taking place within days, sometimes a couple of hours on the day, with the working area left clean and the operation of the lift walked through until family members feel confident using it. Repairs follow the same rhythm: a call about a damaged or failing lift is answered quickly, the fault is diagnosed on the spot and explained as it is corrected.

More than one customer describes the rental arrangement as reasonably priced and appreciate being able to buy a reconditioned model outright instead. Praise for Nathan’s manner is constant, whether he is guiding an older user through the controls or adapting a part so that independence can be regained. Knowledgeable advice, unhurried explanations and a friendly, professional approach from first enquiry to completion are the themes that run through almost every account.
