I was really disappointed with Stannah stairlifts because my mum bought a brand new one just over 2 years ago as the salesman said they would buy back in the future we thought great ,my mum passed away so I contacted stannah and was told because it was a few months over the 2 years that they won’t now buy it back which wasnt explained when we purchased it so when the salesman tells you he will buy it back make sure you die before the 2 year period as your family will be stuck with it and of course they offered to take it for free ,bloody cheek
Because of new carpets being fitted on Thursday, the stairlift had to be removed. Daniel worked very hard on the hottest day of the year to remove the lift and because the carpet fitters did not complete the job , came back the following day to put it all back together, replace the batteries and get it in working order. His colleague, Steve, did the final service and clean the runners and chair thoroughly. A good job.
The engineer was very professional and friendly . He was very happy to answer any of my questions about the stairlift and provided an excellent service .
My wife is delighted with the Stannah stairlift. The first service was carried out recently, six months after purchase, the engineer was friendly and polite.
