Matt was fantastic throughout the whole process of sorting my son's electric wheelchair. Helpful with choice and supported us with updates with delivery, paperwork involved and helped with all the hurdles we faced throughout the process. The delivery handover was excellent lots of information given and we were not at all rushed. Such a change from other stores. Thoroughly recommend.
Staff in the shop very helpful, we bought a stairlift 12months ago and would not recommend them, as we wanted ASAP we purchased a refurb unit, all looks OK works fine, although expensive. Then we had an issue, stopped working 1/2 way up the stairs called the emergency helpline, got given another number which then led to a message which gave the original number, left a message, no reply received, opened and closed all handles, seatbelts footpad, switched it on and off got.it working again. Finally, when I no longer needed the stairlift, was offered a paltry £300, (less than 10% of Purchase price) i understand there are bespoke parts that cannot be reused, but I would rather throw it away than let.it.be fitted in someone else's home with a significant mark up, seems a very old chair with an uncovered toothed rail, much more modern and safer options out there, my advice would be to shop around and be very sure of what you are getting before committing. The 2 stars are for the staff in the shop, very helpful would recommend a visit to the shop, but wouldn't recommend a stairlift
Just to say what a professional man Matt is at Ableworld Salford. Had a few dealings with him and he never fails to help. Always with a smile and in this case compassion. Not many people left in the world with his kind of empathy. Thanks Matt, you're the best.
Never purchased a scooter before. Went to ableworld in Salford and was helped by Matt Cottam. He spent ages going through everything with me. He was really patient. I had a couple of teething problems after purchase (due to my lack of knowledge) but when I contacted the store and spoke to Matt he was really helpful and gave me some help which resolved the issue. 5* service. Highly recommended. Matt deserves a pay rise!!
Visited on Tuesday and was served by a very polite man who advised us. We purchased a chair for the shower which I have since used and very pleased with it. A good experience and would visit again.
