What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Families arranging equipment for a relative, often at short notice after surgery or bereavement, feature heavily in accounts of this Northampton mobility supplier. A handful of customers describe a quick, efficient collection or delivery, with staff pulling out all the stops to arrange items within days when a hip replacement was brought forward. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the politeness and empathy of named staff, particularly Donna and Emma, praised for handling the sensitive return of aids after a death with care and speed.

Drivers are repeatedly described as friendly and helpful, and the installation of a handrail on a staircase is singled out as a practical extra. Counter service for collecting crutches is called prompt and courteous. Less favourable accounts describe difficulty reaching the right person, service visits where a card was left without a prior call, and unhelpful responses when collection dates clashed with hospital appointments, alongside complaints about rude call-centre handling and poor parking at the premises. The better experiences centre on sensitive, well-organised collection of equipment for families.

Absolutely pathetic rude behaviour over the phone from Sonia and then everyone after that 1- they can not own up to their own mistake 2- they know they have got the contract from local Authority so they can treat patients with an absolute disrespect but if client even try to show them their face in the mirror they will hang you as they have got the local contact so patients are treated with great disrespect. 3- when you ask them for the recording of the conversation the system doesn’t work but if you even try to be straight forward let alone adamant . Again Sonia and her team will sing the same Hymn. Try to avoid them how ever possible

Thank you to Donna, who was swift & sensitive in the arrangement of the return of equipment/aids after my Mum died. Unlike the lady I first spoke to who was very robotic, and clearly not used to dealing with families who've lost a loved one. Aside from this poor customer service, Millbrook have served my Mum well, via her palliative care team. All the drivers have been very friendly & helpful. Millbrook needs more Donnas on the phone lines. Thank you.

Millbrook have attended 3 times now to service my elderly mothers bed, on every occasion they just left a card and no phone call first ,I have phoned them every time double checking the contact details and one of the phone numbers is for my mum who will not answer as she is deaf even though they have my number. My mum is housebound and unable to mobilise at all, I find the service disgusting, they used to be a good company, no idea what's happened.

What a God forsaken place. Staff lovley although got things wrong. I feel sorry for them having to work is this aweful place. Parking dreadful, got blocked in. Car park an absolute shambles. All needs tearing down or cleaning up.

Just called to arrange collection of equipment no longer needed as patient passed away. The man on the phone in the customer service team was so insensitive to the matter and delivered appalling service and sounded very unprofessional. Not what a bereaved family should be dealing with!

initially spoke to customer service rep to set a date. agreed I would update availability for the day due to commitments. when I called to do this the rep just said its an all day visit slot with driver calling at 30 minutes notice. no use at all when having hospital appointments but person was unwilling to budge so I attended warehouse to collect product to self install. should get a good outcome now!!

Went to collect crutches prior to surgery on a knee. Quick, efficient and polite attention and service. Only downside was limited parking.
