Shop mobility holds a 4.1 rating from 168 Google reviews. Many reviewers describe straightforward, helpful visits for tasks such as updating blue badge details or borrowing mobility scooters and wheelchairs, with staff described as friendly and accommodating. However, a recurring negative theme appears across several reviews, describing unfriendly or dismissive treatment of disabled customers and inconsistent explanations of badge rules, so visitors may wish to confirm requirements in advance and be prepared for service that can vary depending on which member of staff they see.

Explained that a Disabled badge is valid by security on the day no charge given, if you have registered at the mobility shop.
Absolutely disgusted with the service here. We had been told by two separate people, that a picture of the disability badge would be fine. How are you supposed to show someone a physical badge and have it in your car at the same time? Impossible! Aggressive attitude of the woman dealing with the public. Had to comfort my mum afterwards. Don't work in shopmobility if you don't have a kind nature, it's as simple as that. I'd give a zero star review if it were possible! Disgusting!
Very unfriendly lady working there. Was busier reading her newspaper than being helpful. I wonder if they have a camera there for management to see the level of service given to the disabled . TERRIBLE

Lovely staff helped me update my disabled badge with new car registration
Popped in to change the car registration number so we could park hassle free.
