Brought my mother for her first scooter. She wasn’t sure exactly what she was looking for, we met Andy who was knowledgeable, absolutely not pushy in anyway, gave us ideas, pros and cons etc. maybe he’s the worlds greatest salesman or the worst because we felt no pressure to buy anything and he seemed to care about what was right for my mum far more than making a sale. Anyway.. he made a sale, but an old lady left happy.

Great customer service. The gentleman was very helpful. Let my mum try a few zimmers before she decided which 1 suited her needs.

WePopped in to Ablleworld Armley, Leeds Saturday afternoon 4th October 2025. The shop has several parking spacesright outside and a wheelchair ramp to get to the front door and into the shop (if required). Alternatively you can Acess via a handful of steps. The shop is clean and well stocked with a good choice of large items such as (reclining chairs, scooters & wheelchairs to buy or hire) plus small mobility items. We went in to purchase a lumbar support for my wheelchair and were happy with the choice available and Andy who assisted us was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. He noticed my wheelchair tyres were a little low in air and next thing he was on his knees with a pump putting air into my tyres but he didn’t stop there, he then patiently looked and tightened up a couple of screws on the wheelchair control unit. I highly recommend this shop for all your mobility needs and servicing and I would not hesitate to go back if I need something in the future. thank you Andy, you’re amazing 😊.

Great service without pressure to buy love my scooter that was delivered for demo within 30 minutes of speaking to assistant as housebound at moment, bought striaght away the sales assistant even delivered me a bag 2 days later so I can go out and take crutches with me Thank you so very much,will be calling into shop when I dare venture further from home.J E

Got a new carbon fibre electric wheel chair. The staff were superb extremely helpful & knowledgeable, they saw us pull up, opened the door and welcomed us in. They even lifted our old electric wheelchair and took that in as a part exchange. Excellent, would definitely recomend and would use again. Thank you.

Ableworld in the Leeds branch have been absolutely fantastic. Andy and the team are so friendly, approachable, and genuinely caring—nothing is too much trouble. They recently serviced my wheelchair at late notice and when we were in a bind for time and did a brilliant job! Their support is invaluable, especially for vulnerable people and their families.
