Crosby Mobility

Crosby Mobility is a mobility equipment shop serving Crosby, Waterloo, Seaforth, Bootle, Litherland, Netherton, Thornton, Formby, Maghull, wider Sefton and Liverpool.

It supplies products from brands including Pride, Sitting Pretty, Monarch Mobility, Acorn Stairlifts, One Rehab, Electric Mobility (Rascal), Performance Health and Able2. The shop offers scooters, power chairs, stairlifts, riser chairs and a wide range of mobility equipment. A home visit service is available. Direct sales from its website are not offered because products should be personally tailored. An after-sales service is provided.

Folding mobility scooters, larger scooters and riser recliner chairs feature among the purchases described by customers of this Seaforth mobility shop, which also takes on practical repairs and key problems. One thing mentioned again and again is the helpful, friendly manner of the team, with a member of staff called Martin singled out for trying several spare keys until one fitted a scooter again. Buyers of both large scooters and riser recliner chairs describe a friendly, helpful and professional service, and one account reports that a chair reached the customer and was ready to use the following day.

More than one review highlights being guided towards a suitable mobility scooter, with staff taking time to explain the options. A repair job, however, attracted criticism: one customer felt the fault was not properly identified and that a charge was made for work that did not solve the problem, which they then resolved themselves after consulting the manual. Alongside that, a reviewer questioned the shop being described as Crosby rather than Seaforth. Satisfied accounts highlight knowledgeable help, quick delivery and a warm welcome in store.
