Des Gosling Mobility Ltd

Hi Des Karl recently fitted a hoist in my Volvo XC40. He completed the work in the most professional and efficient manner, he worked quietly and expertly, completing the installation swiftly and gave us a thorough briefing and run through on how the hoist worked. The hoist has continued to work brilliantly and has been a real asset to us. The handbook has also been a great help and reference guide.

Have just read most of the comments on thus site and can whole heartedly agree with every comment made. Efficiency, kindness, knowledge, timekeeping, good manners all impeccable. Cannot praise them enough. Even had the cheek to deliver my vehicle back to me with the work complete , the day before they were supposed to. CONGRATULATIONS Des Gosling and thankyou for your excellent 10/10 work and service.

I have had my hoist from Des Gosling for quite a number of years now. The customer service, especially Tina, who is so friendly and helpful Is excellent. The Engineers have always done a very neat job of fitting and explaining how to use the hoist. I would highly recommend this company.

Fantastic experience! Recently got my Grand C-Max back with its new 'Apex Assist boot hoist' installed. The whole process from beginning to end was wonderful: The time Des spent with me beforehand planning the precise details of which hoist and how best to adapt car and scooter. The comms from the office. The quality and detail of the work by the design & installation team. The friendly collection of my car by Will, just as planned. It's return by Hannah 2 days later, patiently demonstrating all aspects and answering my many questions. All staff demonstrating excellent customer relations and professionalism. Everything was as good or even better than I had hoped for. What a team! You have all contributed to giving me the freedom to travel independently whenever the need arises from now on. Thank you👏

Mobility, different shapes and sizes as we all are we need perhaps something individual. How exceptional are Des and his team. They welcomed me, listened to my idea, looked at some pictures, smiled and said yes we can do that. So just over a week later I have a hoist in my boot, it works brilliantly for my needs, didn’t cost the earth and it was fitted and tested to ensure it was perfect. I cannot recommend these people enough, nothing was too much trouble and it was all done with smiles, the odd joke, but most of all with care, respect and the best thing ever they listened to me. Thank you guys

26 years ago I was severely disabled in a road accident, wondering if I'd ever drive again. Thanks to the amazing expertise, understanding and "thinking outside the box" of all involved at Des Gosling Mobility I have driven all over the UK for the last 25 years. I called in today for a very slight "running repair" and can happily testify that they are still quite simply the best. Many thanks for keeping me mobile despite being classed as 82% disabled. Cheers guys, Barbara

I purchased the Freedom Ai3AF power wheelchair from Des Gosling Mobility, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The auto-folding feature is an absolute game-changer—it folds down effortlessly, making travelling and putting it in the car so easy. The battery life is fantastic, and the maneuverability is incredibly smooth. The team at Des Gosling are helpful, friendly, and provide true peace of mind. When I had a couple of minor issues, their after-sales support was brilliant and they quickly resolved everything. I highly recommend both the chair and the company to anyone looking for reliable mobility solutions!"
