We needed a stairlift installed for my Mum. We contacted a couple of companies but decided to go with Mobility Scotland Ltd as from the initial phone call we found the service very good. Pierce came to the house and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He went through everything thoroughly to ensure my Mum got exactly what she needed. The installation was quick and Pierce came out again to check my Mum was happy with everything. We are very happy to recommend Mobility Scotland Ltd for your stairlift. The price and service were just what we were looking for.
A big thank you to the team at Mobility Scotland especially Pierce from the (Fri) first meeting with him. As I turned up to the showroom with my elderly parents, to look at getting stairlift fixed for them. Pierce took them round to look at them, explained everything really well and answered any questions my parents had, let my mum try one of the stairlift, too see what she thought of it. The next thing was a home visit survey to be done with Pierce (Mon) after that it was installed on the Friday with Robert (engineer). Then after that Pierce, has been out to visit them, to check everything is ok with happy service. Highly recommend this company, for everything they do. . Fab company to deal with. Transparent pricing structure and no hard sales whatsoever. I did have quotes from other companies and I did not like way quotes started high and within a day or two they had been vastly reduced. This made me wonder whether vulnerable people who may be in an emergency situation and a hurry will pay the initially quoted high costs. There was no such underhanded sales technique from MS. The price was the price and everyone was really lovely to deal with. My parents are delighted to now ascend my stairs in comfort 😀
I have used this team of specialists twice now the 1st time for a specialised recliner chair for my mum who was housebound. The chair was made especially to fit her body posture. The team visited my mum on a few occasions before and after her chair was made. Her chair was a godsend making it possible for her to be hoisted from her bed into her chair. Then I could wheel her recliner from room to room. Nothing was a problem for these guys, so, so helpful, couldn’t do enough for me & my mum. Now they have just fitted a stairlift into my aunts house, my aunt had three companies out before these guys and all three companies told her she would need to get major work done in her home before it could be fitted meaning knocking down a wall. Mobility Scotland in Kirkintilloch have done all the work without knocking down a wall and my aunt can now get up & downstairs safely and securely without the worry of losing her balance. Their customer service is 1st class, they couldn’t do enough for her from start to finish nothing is a problem for this team. When you phone there office you get to speak to someone right away. When they say they will be there they are there, bang on time. Thank you for making this possible. We can highly recommend this company. Their workmanship is brilliant.
My mum needed a new bed, so we visited Mobility Scotland in Kirkintilloch and chose an Opera bed. Claire and Billy were fantastic—friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to talk us through all the features, explain that the bed is British-made, and reassure us about the brand’s excellent reputation. Delivery and installation were handled efficiently—everything arrived as arranged and the team had the bed set up and ready to use in minutes. It’s made a real difference as my mum’s mobility has declined, and we’ve been very pleased with both the product and the service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mobility Scotland.
Very smooth, well managed experience Excellent service throughout from initial contact to installation and support. This is the second time my family has had a stairlift installed by Mobility Scotland and in both cases we have been delighted with the service.
