Oak Tree Mobility

3.6(565 reviews)·Bristol

Oak Tree Mobility holds a 3.6 rating from 565 Google reviews. Some reviewers praise representatives including John Rose, Mark, Jason and Tricia Venton for giving honest, unhurried demonstrations of riser recliner chairs and beds. However, a number of reviews describe recurring after-sales problems, including a lack of emergency call-out cover when a rising bed broke, disputes over refunds and compensation after a damaged sofa delivery, limited flexibility when a chair turned out to be unsuitable, and one report of a pushy in-home sales visit. Prospective customers may wish to clarify after-sales support, warranty terms and cancellation rights carefully before committing to a purchase.

We had an amazing experience with them today. John Rose listened and gave honest answers when doing the quote. Would highly recommend.

Mark was very approachable and friendly. :) as I supported my mum with her choices. We didn't feel rushed or pressured into anything. So pleased we booked someone to come and chat with us. Thankyou we will definitely be talking to others about our experiences. 😊

Asked for a brochure weeks ago instead i got calls every day that i hang up and block only to be called by a new number and yet still no brochure which i now definitely do not want after reading reviews, stop harassing people! god have you no shame, nowhere does it say we need to have a call when requesting one nor is there an option to opt out of calls, there is however an info panel showing you may need to contact us if theres a problem with the brochure must be quite a bloody problem for an email pdf or a bit of paper in the post...

My 94 year old Mum bought a rising bed as she is unable to get up from a flat position. On Tuesday of this week, 16th June the rising mechanism broke meaning she is unable to use the bed. Made contact with the company and told the first available date for a technician to call is 22nd June as they do not operate an emergency call out service. When I asked what was my Mum supposed to do they offered no help or solution. Result, my 94 year old Mum is sleeping on a chair in her living room from 16th to 22nd. A word of warning if you buy from this company,be prepared to receive no after sales help in an emergency. Take your money but offer a sub standard service.

My husband, who has early onset dementia, requested a brochure from Oak Tree mobility while browsing online for a ride and recline chair. Within minutes I got a call, not offering a brochure, but telling me there was a sales rep in the area who could come and give a demonstration. Matt came and was extremely pushy!! Had I not been home we would be £5000 down and my husband would have a chair that doesn’t meet his needs. To say there is no hard sell is an absolute lie, I would avoids this company at all costs!

Great visit from representative Jason, he was very knowledgeable and informative about the large range of options available with this company. Mindful of the realities of my disability, as well as the aesthetics of the choice of chair, fabric etc. Full marks!

It is a first class service from start to finish. All the staff are so friendly yet professional, the demonstration was excellent and the ordering process very simple. I can recommend them for all their services I can say I found no faults at all.
