I needed to get a stair lift fitted for my parents, so I researched 4 local companies. Sykes stairlifts just immediately stood out, Nicola was brilliant answering my questions, she was friendly with expert knowledge, I loved that it's a local family business and there was absolutely no pressure. Within a couple of days nicola came out and measured, and we chose a lovely slim chair to be fitted that week. I like that we can book a yearly service, and any repairs or parts needed are taken care of. John &Dave came a couple of days later, were lovely and friendly, did a fantastic job , and leftxecerything beautifully clean. 10/10 for how impressed we were, my parents love it, and from start to finish I'm so glad we chose this company to keep my parents safe going up and down the stairs. Would I recommend Sykes?absolutely!
I would 100% recommend Sykes Stairlifts. Nicola came out to do the survey, 3 days later John the engineer came to install the stairlift, he was very pleasant,professional, but most of all he was a perfectionist who takes pride in his work. A massive thank you all.

A five star service! We recently had a stairlift fitted for my Mum, Nicola initially came to do a home visit and explained the choices of lifts we had and the service Sykes Stairlifts offer. No hard sales or pressure at all and we had a full quotation sent over the same day. The stairlift was fitted two days after we gave the go ahead, the engineers were very helpful, quick and efficient. They explained fully how the chair worked and made sure Mum was happy with the controls and how the lift worked before they left. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Sykes Stairlifts, a great service!
After being recommended to us by a neighbour, we recently used Sykes for a stairlift for my mum. We had nothing but lovely, friendly service, from the initial enquiry to the day the stairlift was fitted. Communication was great and Mum is really happy with the end result. We took a bit of time to decide, and for Mum to feel ready, but there was no pressure at all. We would have no problem at all recommending Sykes for this service.
