Excellent store with many fabulous products. We went to look at the recliner chairs and after sitting and trying out different ones were confused as what to buy due to different sizes and controls. The Salesman Peter was amazing. So friendly, professional, easy to talk with and helpful and knowledgeable. We wanted a simple, easy to use recliner and Peter helped us to find the ideal one. There is no pushiness at the store, you can go away to think about it. Highly recommend Ableworld
I went into the Hanley branch to buy a mobility scooter the two ladies behind the counter went beyond and up up most too help me to find the right scooter for me they found it for me for the right price I wanted even loaded it into my car Dawn + Paula a great credit too your company people are there to complain but never give credit were is credit is due well done you 2 ladies kind regards Terry Burton 👍
After an initially good buying experience and first experience of after sales unfortunately this didn’t continue. Bought a new mobility scooter in August 2025, the motor became noisy in September. This was resolved swiftly, good communication throughout and the scooter returned within a few days. In late December the range reduced dramatically so the scooter was taken to the store and collected by an engineer on Dec 30th. Ableworld did not contact us once, our calls were met with various excuses, waiting for new parts, busy after Christmas etc. Eventually on Jan 19th we called again. The scooter was ready to collect apparently having had just the batteries replaced. A 15 minute job had deprived my wife of her independence for 3 weeks. No loan scooter was ever offered. No apology on collection, just told to complain to Head Office. We were contacted by Ableworld Head office by phone within a few days. They were very apologetic and offered a free service voucher as compensation which we accepted.
Such lovely people, very patient with us old codgers, with a problem scooter battery! Paula and Kevin at Ableworld Stoke-on-Trent were lovely, helpful with advice and purchase! 👍❤️
Unfortunately I had to visit Ableworld after finding out i had cancer in my leg & breaking my femur. I'd lost a lot of mobility and needed a push chair to get about. The young lady made our visit very enjoyable. She helped with all our enquiries & made it less daunting, helped us with getting the equipment into the car. If we require anything more we will definitely visit Ableworld....100% 5/5
My daughter bought me a new wheelchair from Ableworld a few months back, she said the staff were really helpful and I find the wheelchair so much more comfortable than my previous one. Thank you.
Really welcoming, happy to accommodate our needs and answered all queries, allowed us the time to test equipment and it's actual suitability for our needs before we made our purchase, would recommend, excellent customer service
