Just wanted to say thank you so much to Josh at Ableworld for helping me and my dad today! He is such a great guy, so compassionate and helpful. I haven't seen my dad have genuine joy for a while as he really is struggling to get around at the moment but now he has his new mobility scooter he will have more freedom again
Just want to say thankyou to Alan..he chatted with my terminally ill brother with compassion, so gentle in his manner, did his very best to fit stairlift with best deal he could do and fitted next day, collected yesterday after my brother passed, just lovely manner and very caring..thankyou Alan.
Staff were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful.
Very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable staff. We bought 2 wheelchairs and thank you to Melanie who tended to us, discarded the old chair and assisted me to the car with the new ones.
Looking to buy a swivel cushion for my car. Not sure if it would fit but one of your staff very kindly came with me to the car and made sure it was ok. Unfortunately it didn't fit but the service level was top notch. Will definitely be using this shop again for our mobility aids 👍
We hired a mobility chair on Christmas Eve, after leaving the battery only lasted an hour clearly showing it was faulty. This continued with the battery only lasting 2 hours a day. Charging time was said to be 12 hours so we lost a day of our rent straight away, and had to push the mobility chair back! We couldn’t rectify this problem as they were closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day. When returning the chair we were met by a woman who was incredibly rude and unhelpful, stating that we needed a receipt to get the deposit back, yet we were only told to bring the card we made the transaction with back with us. We had family visiting the UK for the first time from America, at first they tried to rent a mobility chair but were refused as they didn’t have a UK driving license, wouldn’t even accept the passports, one of which was an English passport! Please tell me why you can rent a car in the UK with an American license and passport, but you can’t rent a mobility chair? They were looking forward to exploring Stafford and this put a complete downer on the trip as my Grandma was unable to get around properly for 2 days over Christmas.
Went for my first wheelchair for occasional use and was pleasantly greeted on entering store. John, store manager, listened and took us straight to small light wheelchairs. Chose the first one we tried but there was a wide range. A quick and simple payment followed plus a full and easy explanation of chair itself. I couldn’t be more grateful, Thankyou all staff.
