Castle Comfort Stairlifts Ltd

Castle Comfort Stairlifts Ltd is a stairlift supplier and installer founded in 1997 by Keith. The company is family-run and remains controlled hands-on by founder Keith with partner and co-director Ann Bruce. The name 'Castle Comfort' derives from Newcastle under Lyme, part of the Stoke on Trent conurbation in Staffordshire. Castle Comfort Stairlifts is an Acorn Stairlifts Partner Company. It provides stairlift services throughout Northern Ireland and also covers Scotland, North West, North East, Yorkshire, Wales, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, South East, South West, Northern Ireland, and Spain.

The company offers a free, no obligation stairlift quote. Its main services include supplying and installing stairlifts, home lifts, servicing and repairs, and reconditioned stairlifts. It operates from a renovated former bank building that also houses a local doctors' practice and a show-house where customers can see and try different brands. The company has been in business for over two decades and has verified online reviews.

Responsiveness shapes the feedback for Castle Comfort Stairlifts Ltd in Belfast, where the experience described by customers has varied. A swift reply to an initial enquiry and a helpful manner are praised in some accounts, with one customer noting how quickly their question was answered. Advice also features strongly, particularly around removing an existing stairlift; a reviewer describes receiving guidance aimed at securing a favourable financial outcome even when it meant no sale for the company. That kind of impartial recommendation, where the customer's interest comes first, is highlighted as a positive.

Set against this, one account reports difficulty making contact, with calls and messages going unanswered, which suggests that communication has not always been consistent. The company operates as a lift service, and the reviews centre on enquiry handling, removal advice and the value of honest guidance rather than installation work itself. For customers weighing up their options, the recurring theme is that helpful, speedy responses and straightforward advice are valued, while reaching the business has not been straightforward for everyone. The advice on removing a stairlift remains the most concrete example of the service described.
