Humber Mobility Centre

I ordered a mobility scooter from Humber Mobility on 8th May and thete was a delay of over 2 weeks before it was delivered. There was virtually no communication from Humber Mobility. The scooter was delivered on 25th May however after just 1km it failed and would not start. Numerous calls to Humber Mobility ensued and we tried everything they asked including recharging the batteries overnight. It was at that point we realised the battery charger they supplied (and said they had tested), was defective. HM said they would call back with details of a local repair company to come and repair the fault however they have never once called me back and I had to chase up both HM and the repair company. They did not use a local company but one over 150 miles away who arrived on 10th June. He said the electric grakecwas defective even though Humber Mobility said they had installed and tested a new brake 🙄 The repair guy said he would get Humber Mobility to approve a replacement brake and come back to fit it. Humber Mobility never called the repair company and again it was myself who had to chase Humber Mobility up. The repair company said it would be July 9th earliest before they could fir the part which I said was unacceptable and called Humber Mobility again requesting tje new brake be posted direct to my house and we would fit it. Humber Mobility agreed to this and said they would call tje repair company to approve but when I chased up the repair company to see where the switch was they knew nothing about the switch being deliveredvto my house as yet again Humber Mobility had done nothing and not contacted them as promised. I still don't have a working scooter and cannot believe how shoddy Humber Mobility is and how their pre delivery service and checks are virtually non existent. I would never ever use Humber Mobility again and if this is not sorted within a week will reject the scooter and demand my money back.

Amazing company. Nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful staff members and just as promised next day delivery. Would definitely recommend.

I recently purchased a scooter from these guys the one I originally ordered there was a problem with it so they upgraded me to a better one can’t thank them enough as I’ve been able to get out and about now a lot more the driver was very helpful talked me through everything about the scooter so far it’s been great no problems at all highly recommended thanks again.
