Good choice of scooters and wheelchairs, fully charged. Would not hesitate to recommend and it's free of charge with designated parking spaces.
I used Shopmobility Birmingham for the first time yesterday and was delighted with their service. The unit is unmanned so impossible to reach by phone. There is however a telephone number to ring on arrival. One of the centre staff came immediately and opened up for me. I completed two registration forms, showed two forms of photo ID. Drove away within 10 minutes. The same when I returned the scooter. Someone was with me within 5 minutes following my call. This service is completely free on a first come, first serve basis. The best access lift is in the Selfridges end of the Bullring with the lift at the side of Costa Coffee opening straight in front of the unit. Will definitely be using this service again.
No one actually mans the shop mobility place so you have to be patient but they do come eventually are polite and helpful.
