A customer who bought a chair in June 2020 found the back broke in March 2022, and the account describes how only two screws had been fitted to each metal plate where six were required, with no screw holes present for the extra fixings.
Rushmere Mobility, a disability equipment supplier and home furniture shop, told the buyer engineers would attend in about five days, but the visit came roughly five weeks later. The chair had been chosen to support British manufacturing and cost about double comparable alternatives, which the buyer felt made both the structural failure and the extended wait for attention significant.

Purchased a chair June 2020, the back broke March 2022. Was told engineers would be here in about 5 days it was in fact 5 weeks. The reason the chair broke was only 2 screws had been put in each metal plate when in fact there should have been 6 screws in each. There never had been the correct number of screws fitted holding the back as there were no screw holes. I bought this chair as I wanted to buy British & paid double what other chairs were selling for made in China. I may as well have paid less & gone for a Chinese one which may have been better made. Would certainly not recommend this company as the customer service is almost non existent.
