Ableworld Mobility & Stairlifts Wavertree
What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Ableworld Mobility & Stairlifts Wavertree holds a 4.6 rating from 97 reviews. Staff members including Mark, Louise and Chloe are repeatedly praised for friendly, patient help across mobility scooters, wheelchair hire and riser recliner chairs, with customers noting affordable rental rates and next-day delivery.
A minority of reviewers report a mismatch between in-store testing and real-world use of a scooter on kerbs and pavements, and describe frustration over wheelchair hire deposit deductions and unclear return-policy communication, so prospective customers may wish to clarify return and deposit terms before purchase or hire.

Great help from Mark Very kind and informative at a stressful time for me
The staff at ableworld saltney can only be described as a credit to the company, they are extremely helpful, caring and honest, we have nothing but praise for them
Fabulous staff, great selections of mobility scooters for my father.
My 82 year old Father bought a mobility scooter from Ableworld on 2/8/2025. Tested it in store where of course there are no kerbs, uneven surfaces etc. The scooter is now sitting in his hallway no longer being used as it gets stuck getting on/off kerbs, he feels every bump and crack on the pavement which causes him pain due to arthritis. I rang Ableworld for advice and was told to sell it privately. Ableworld have a no returns policy which means he's paid nearly £1500 for an ornament. I wouldn't touch them with bargepole 🤬
Went to store with my daughter to look at a mobility scooter , Louise was absolutely lovely , bought a couple of things to go with it , it was also delivered the next day can’t fault them
Purchased a jolly boot scooter, 24/3/25. Visited a few days earlier seen what I liked and bought it . Friendly staff, very helpful would highly recommend.
We rented a wheelchair for a family member for the weekend as she had been bed bound since an operation. Chloe was extremely helpful and friendly, over the phone and in person. The rental process was easy, smooth and very affordable (£15) !! What a great service to be aware of in our area. I’m very grateful to Chloe for such nice service.
