Shopmobility Sheffield

Shopmobility Sheffield is a registered charity, charity number 1091304. It enables access to Sheffield City Centre, Crystal Peaks and beyond. The charity offers daily or extended scooter and wheelchair hire, and long-term loans. Shopmobility Sheffield has staff, trustees and volunteers.

Electric scooters and wheelchairs can be hired by the day or by the week from this non-profit mobility equipment shop in the Crystal Peaks area of Sheffield. Customers describe the team as very helpful, and assistance with choosing and using the equipment is a recurring theme in the feedback. The service supports short-term and longer-term mobility needs for people visiting the shopping centre as well as local residents, with both scooters and wheelchairs available to borrow.

Practical support from staff when hiring is highlighted, and the organisation's community-focused, non-profit approach shapes the way the service is run. Those who have used it mention the availability of the equipment for daily or weekly hire, and the helpfulness of the people on hand when collecting or returning items. The combination of flexible hire periods and hands-on help from the team is what defines the experience reported by customers. Electric scooters and wheelchairs for hire, supported by a helpful team, are at the centre of what this Sheffield service provides.
